5 Vegetarian foods contain more proteins than meat

According to several nutrition and health studies, high-protein plant foods can easily compete with meat and dairy products rich in protein, an important component of the diet. Because of the importance of protein in feeding the body, British Daily Star reported a range of plant foods that contain more protein than protein in meat and milk, as follows:

1. Cannabis seeds

Each 100 grams of cannabis seeds contains 31 grams of protein, as well as amino acids, omega-3 and omega-6 fats, making them an ideal alternative to fish. Cannabis seeds are also rich in magnesium, which helps control blood sugar levels, which is an essential nutrient for diabetics.

2. Soybeans

Each cooked cup of soybeans contains 18 grams of protein, in addition to essential amino acids, and a good amount of B vitamins.

3 - black beans

Each cup of black beans contains 15 grams of protein. Black beans are not only an important source of protein, but they are full of fiber and potassium, vitamin B6 and many plant nutrients. Black beans are also characterized by their antioxidant properties and anti-inflammatory properties.

4. Bean butter

Each cup of bean butter contains 14 grams of protein. Bean butter is a major source of minerals such as iron, copper, manganese, calcium and magnesium.

5 - almond / almond butter

Each quarter cup of almonds, or every tablespoon of almond butter, contains 12 grams of protein. Almonds also contain a large amount of nutrients, minerals, antioxidants and vitamins, as well as calcium, magnesium and iron.
